On Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 26, occurred the marriage ceremony of Rosa Finger, of this village, and Wm. Leach, of Taghkanic. They were married at the home of the bride by Rev. Walter Miller. Miss Kittie Lynk acted as bridesmaid and Harry Sheldon as best man. The bride was tastefully dressed in heliotrope silk and white lace, while the groom wore the conventional black suit. About seventy guests were present and the gilts were both useful and ornamental. The newly married pair left for Dryden, N. Y. , amid showers of rice and the good wishes of a host of friends. - The Register November 4, 1887

WIFE SUES HUSBAND FOR CERTAIN GOODS To Which She Claims Ownership, and Which He Took Off of Place. - When Supreme court reconvened today the trial of Rosa Leach against William Leach, a replevin action, was resumed. It is the plaintiff's contention that the defendant took chattels from the plaintiff's farm in Livingston, which, she claims, belongs to her that these chattels were not seized by virtue of an execution, nor warrant of attachment against the property that the actual aggregate value of the property is the sum of $650. The defendant, who is the plaintiff's husband, claims the property he took belongs to him and his answer to the complaint was a general denial. Considerable evidence was adduced in effort to prove value of certain articles. At 2:30 o'clock this afternoon testimony was closed. Each side asserted they felt they could make their summing up half an hour each, so it is probable the case will go to the jury about 4 o'clock. Among the witnesses who testified to-day were Charles Benton, William Smith, E. Lasher, Henry Fingar, Wm. Henry Snyder, S. Mitchell Rainey and the defendant. Elias Fingar was called to testify by the plaintiff on rebuttal. Yesterday John P. Vesburgh, Douglas Smith and Mrs. Jessie Jornson testified. In beginning his address to the jury, Mr. Herzberg, of Duntz & Herzberg, attorneys for the defendant, said the case was practically the climax of twenty-six years of married life, and all the defendant asks is that the situation be thoroughly considered from every point of view. Hudson Register February 11, 1916

Found him on the 1910 Livingston, Columbia, New York census (dist 29 img 27) as William Leach age 49, farmer.
