Penn Yan, Nov. 2 - Miss Georgianna Havens, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Havens, Penn Yan, R. D. 4, and Earl A. Finger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clark Finger, Penn Yan, R. D., were married at the Methodist Episcopal parsonage at Benton on October 30 at 12:30 p. m. by Rev. Charles A. Smith. The bride was gowned in raspberry crepe with black accessories and wore a corsage of rosebuds. The matron of honor, Mrs. Julius Larsen, of Bellona, sister of the bride, wore a rust colored gown with brown accessories and a corsage of rosebuds. Julius Larsen, Bellona, was best man. Following the wedding ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents. Prenuptial events included a variety shower, given by Mrs. Claude Tomion and Mrs. Byron Kelley a kitchen shower, by Mrs. George Kinne and a personal shower, by Miss Virginia Porter. Mrs. Georgianna Finger, Branchport, paid a $10 fine Tuesday at her arraignment before Peace Justice Clark Benedict, Town of Jerusalem. Mrs. Finger pleaded guilty to a charge of passing a stopped school bus in Rt. 54. Deputy William Leach made the arrest. -
