Mrs. Ethel May Shook Camburn, 48, wife of the late Frank Camburn Jr., died Friday in the Northern Dutchess Health Center, Rhinebeck. She had been ill only a few days. Mrs. Camburn was born in the Town of Milan, March 28, 1898, a daughter of Mrs. Lida Smith Shook and the late Leander Shook. She had resided in Pine Plains and in Red Hook during most of her married life. Mr. Shook, died seven years ago. Surviving, in addition to her mother, who resides here with her daughter, Mrs. Fred Fingar, are five sons, Roy, Vincent and Neil Camburn, Pine Plains Kenneth Camburn, Ancramdale and two daughters, - Miss Lois Camburn, White Plains, and Mrs. James Decker, Pleasant Valley seven grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Zada Hicks, Ancramdale, and Mrs. Fingar, here, and three brothers, Walter Shook, here Lee Shook, Poughkeepsie, and Ira Shook, Waterbury. Funeral services were held at Roberts' Funeral home at 2:30 o'clock Monday afternoon. The Rev. Douglas Fletcher, pastor, of the Bangall Methodist church, officiated.
