Frank Whitney Finger, son of Rev. and Mrs. Jacob Finger of 41 East Ave., received his Doctor of Philosophy Degree from President Henry M. Weston, on behalf of the Board of Fellows, at the annual School Convocation, Saturday afternoon in Sayles Hall, at Brown University. He majored in psychology and will join the Brown faculty, next term, as instructor in this study. In 1936 Mr. Finger was awarded an A.B. degree and in 1937 the A. M. degree at Syracuse University. He has been elected a member of Sigma Xi National Scientific Society in recognition for outstanding research work. - The Attica News June 19, 1940
