George Reehl age 6.
George H. Reehl, 89, of Philadelphia PA passed away on September 14th at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia. George was born in Mt. Vernon NY in 1923 to the late George Henry and Edna Josephine (Finger) Reehl.
Mr. Reehl attended Mt. Vernon Schools until the ninth grade and then graduated from Chatham High School in Chatham N.Y. George went on to earn an Electrical Engineering Degree from Clarkson College of Technology in Potsdam N.Y. and a Masters degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He worked for G.E. from college graduation until his retirement in such places as Pittsfield MA, Schenectady N.Y., Lynn MA, and Valley Forge PA retiring from there. Some of Mr. Reehl's favorite pastimes were fishing, Baseball, football and concerts. He was well loved by his family members and will be greatly missed.
George is survived by his sister Jean Reehl Dodge Kenyon, nephews, Keith and David Dodge, Stephen Kenyon, Clyde and Ernest Kenyon, John, Charles and Robert Webster, niece, Barbara Daverin. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his sister Elaine Reehl Webster and his brother in law Ivan C. Webster.
