A quiet wedding took place at 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the home of Rev. and Mrs. F. W.Tiemenw'ay of Shelburne, Mass., formerly of Silvernails, N Y. when Miss Martha F. Buerman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles A. Buerman of Simsbury, Conn., became the bride of Stanley B. Lyle, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman V. Lyle of Silvernails. The couple were not attended. Only a few relatives were present, including Mr. and Mrs. Buerman and Rev. and Mrs. Chas. Hayward of Ashfield, Mass. The ceremony was performed by Mr. Hemenway, former pastor of the Gallatin Reformed church. Miss Buerman was graduated from the Simsbury high school, and after her graduation was engaged in stenographic work. Mr. Lyle is engaged in farmihg, assisting his father on the home farm. The young couple expect to make their home with Mr. Lyle's parents They will have the good wishes of their friends in this vicinity. - The Register February 4, 1932
