PENN YAN - Funeral services for Mrs. Mary A. Tears, 73, of 67 Union St., Dundee, who died Saturday, wil be at 2 p, m. Tuesday from the Weldon Funeral Home. The Rev. Earl Noyes, pastor of the First Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m. today. Born in Prattsburg, Mrs. Tears was the daughter of the late Alfred and Alice Stratton Hemingway. She lived in Penn Yan area most of her life, moving to Dundee five years ago. Surviving are her husband, Ernest Tears, to whom she had been married 51 years Dec 20 two sons, Raymond of Corning and Howard of Penn Yan two daughters, Mrs. Freeman Fowler of Dundee and Mrs. John Blakesley of Reed Corners one brother, Isaac Hemingway of Rochester two sisters, Mrs. Laura Jones and Mrs Ernest Kinyoun, both of Penn Yan 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
