Hall, Sept. 9 - On Saturday evening, at 8 o'clock at the home of the bride's parents near Hall occurred the marriage ot Miss Betty Jorgensen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lou Jorgensen, and Corporal Roy E. Bergstresser, son of Mr and Mrs. Benjamin Bergstresser, of Gorham. For the wedding, a color scheme of pink and white was carried out with gladioli, roses, asters, Queen Anne's lace, and other flowers. Ferns were used in forming a back ground in a bay window, where the vows were taken. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Ellroy D. Van Dyke, of Penn Yan. The bride's sister, Miss Adele Jorgensen, was her bridesmaid, and Janet Pelllng, a niece of tbe bridegroom, was the flower girl. Elwood Clark of Geneva acted as Corporal Bergstresser's groomsman. Moren Jorgensen, brother of the bride, ushered. The bridal party took their places as the wedding march was played by Mrs. Henry Nelson, cousin of the bride. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a blue suit with copper accessories, and a corsage of pink roses and baby's breath. The little flower girl carried an oldfashioned nosegay, and was very dainty in her white satin dress. Mrs. Jorgensen was in navy blue crepe, with black accessories and corsage of red roses and baby's breath Mrs. Bergstresser's gown was of wine velvet her corsage of pink roses. Buffet refreshments were served following the ceremony. Mrs. Anna C. Jensen, grandmother of the bride, and Mrs. Edward B. Dixon pouring. About fifty guests were present from Hall, Penn Yan, Himrod, Geneva, Gorham. After a brief honeymoon, Corporal and Mrs. Bergstresser returned to the bride's home. The groom is at present stationed at Pine Camp, N. Y., in Maintenance Co., 35 AP, Armored Division. Mrs. Bergstresser will, for the time being, continue her work at the Shuron Optical Co., Geneva.
