Mrs. Edward P. Finger, wife of Olean Police Captain Finger, 1114 West Sullivan Street, was confined to St. Francis Hospital today with a fractured right arm. Her condition was reported “fair.†Mrs. Finger slipped and fell on the icy pavement on North Fifth Street Wednesday night. -

Mrs. Mary T. Finger, widow of
Edward P. Finger, of R.D. 2, West River Rd., a former resident of 114 W. Sullivan St., died today (Aug. 11, 1961) at Olean General Hospital after a long illness.
Her husband was a captain of the Olean Police Dept.
Mrs. Finger was born in Olean April 3, 1907 and was a member of St. Mary of the Angels Church and the Altar Society of the Church.
Surviving are a daughter,
Mrs. Barbara Winters, Gainsviile. Fla.; one son,
Edward P. Finger, Olean: one grandchild: one sister,
Mrs. Francis J. (Helen) Sullivan Olean; one brother,
Max Schoenberger, Olean. -
