Clifton J. Moore, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Moore of Rhinebeck and Miss Beatrice Light, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Guy A. Light of Poughkeepsie, were married Wednesday afternoon at the First Baptist church, Cambridge. The Rev. Emmet I. Case, pastor of the church, who is a great-uncle of the bride, officiated. The ceremony took place at 12:15 o'clock and was attended only by immediate members, of the families. The bride was gowned in brown transparent velvet trimmed with ecru lace and wore a brown velour hat and brown suede shoes and a shoulder corsage, of yellow tea roses. There were no attendants. Immediately after the ceremony the couple left by motor for Quebec, Canada. Upon their return they will reside at 141 Grand avenue, Poughkeepsie, in a new cottage built under the supervision of Mr. Moore, who is a contractor. Miss Light was graduated from Poughkeepsle High School in 1924 and from Pine Plains Training Class for Teachers in 1927. She has been employed at the Dutchess County Farm Bureau in Poughkeepsie. Mr. Moore attended Rhinebeck High School. - The Rhinebeck Gazette and Red Hook Times October 4, 1930
