Mrs. Susan Marsh died at her home in Clark Mills Saturday. She was born in Clinton in 1848, and resided here until about 45 years ago, when she and her husband, whom she married in Clinton in 1874, removed to Clark Mills, where she had since made her home. Her husband, Napoleon Marsh, a Civil War veteran, passed on many years ago. She was a member of the Methodist Church and was a charter member of the Methodist Episcopal Church of Clark Mills, joining before the present church was incorporated or built. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Harry Clark of Clark Mills, and two sisters, one in Pittsfield, Mass. and 'one in Waterloo, and a host of friends, for her beautiful Christian spirit won all to her. The funeral was held from the Methodist Church Tuesday following a private prayer service at the home. Rev. D. W. Bunville was in charge of the services and interment was in Clinton.
