George W. Vosburgh, 69, 102 McCleltan street, died at Ellis Hospital Tuesday morning after a brief illness. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in Baxter's funeral parlors and the burial will be in Livingston, NY.
Mr. Vosburgh, a commercial traveler, was born in Clermont, Columbia county, and had lived in Schenectady for 39 years. He was a member of the First English Lutheran Church, Corlaer lodge, F & AM. Cyprus temple and the United Commercial Travelers. In addition to his wife, Mrs. Anna Lynk Vosburgh, he is survived by two sons, Earl G. Vosburgh and Reginald W. Vosburgh of this city, and two sisters, Mrs. S Delia Boice of Nevis, NY and Mrs. Stanley Conyes of Ossinlng. The parlors will be open tomorrow evening from 7 to 9 o'clock. Schenectady Gazette 1949
