Francis Anthony Revette, Sr., 70, of Copake Lake, N.Y. and formerly of Pine Plains, died Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2003 at Community Hospice at Columbia Memorial Hospital in Hudson, N.Y. He was born on July 28, 1932 in Jay, N.Y., the son of the late Orvide and Melinda Nelson Revette.
One of ten children, he had five brothers and four sisters. Mr. Revette was a retired school bus driver for the Pine Plains Central School District. He was a former member of the Millerton American Legion Post a member of the ABC Bowling League in Mabbetsville and a fan of NASCAR driver Rusty Wallace. Survivors include his daughters, Carol Schuster of Copake Lake, N.Y., Coriha Werner of Hillsdale, and Bonnie Revette of Millerton a son, Matthew Revette, Sr. of Millerton ten grandchildren two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Shirley C. Tripp-Revette, in 1998, and by his son, Francis Revette, Jr. Funeral services were held Jan. 4 at the Peck and Peck Funeral Home, Route 22, Copake, N.Y. with the Rev. Mark Frickcy officiating. Private interment will be at the convenience of the family. - The Register Herald January 9, 2003
