Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Christensen, 77, formerly of Penn Yan, who died yesterday at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, will be Tuesday at 1 p. m. from the Weldon Funeral Home. The Rev. David Olsen, pastor of the St. Paul Lutheran Church, officiating. Born in Denmark, she moved to this country about 65 years ago and lived most of her life in Penn Yan before moving to Rochester two years ago. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and active in the church circle work. She also was a member of the War Dad's Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. She leaves three daughters, Mrs. Annabelle Kettler and Miss Margaret Christensen, both of Rochester, and Mrs. Elsie Christensen of Penn Yan two brothers, Ole Palesen of Penn Yan and Hans Palesen of St. Petersburg, Fla. two sisters, Miss Carrie Pallesen and Miss Petra Pallesen, both of Penn Yan a granddaughter, Linda Kettler of Rochester two grandsons, Peter Fingar of Penn Yan and Roger Fingar of Binghamton, and one great-grandchild.
