Frances Kay Bynum Gantt ("Fran") was a daughter of Kenneth Bynum and Virginia Pate Bynum of Lincolnton, NC. She was married to James Anderson Gantt, a son of Marion Anderson Gantt and Thelma Mae Mitchem Gantt, also of Lincolnton, NC.

James and Fran were parents of two sons: 1. Jonathan Cary Gantt b. 12/15/1968 (m. Pamela Lynn Ray) (one son: Nathan Hunter Gantt b. 12/14/1998); and 2. Christon Shawn Gantt b. 2/3/1975; d. 12/9/1976.

Fran played the piano; and she was secretary for over 25 years for Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Lincolnton, NC. Fran was a beautiful Christian lady, a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many. She will be missed sorely, but good memories are plentiful.
