A beautiful home wedding look place Tuesday, Oct. 8th, at the home of Mr and Mrs William B. Houck, at Churchland, Saugerties, their daughter, Mary being joined in matrimony to Howard Fingar, son of Mr and Mrs Almeron Finger.
The rooms were beautifully decorated with autumn leaves, evergreens and carnations, and the bride looked charming in her gown of chiffon cloth over white satin. She carried a beautiful bouquet of briday roses. The bridesmaid was Miss Grace Palmer, of Stottville, who wore a very pretty gown of chiffon cloth over salmon satin and carried a bouquet of pink carnations. The best man was Victor S. Finger. The Rev. Peter W. Finger of Schenectady, cousin of the groom, officiated. About eighty relatives and friends witnessed the ceremony.
The wedding march was played by Mrs Harry G. Lambert of New York city a cousin of the bride. After a buffet luncheon the happy couple motored to the West Shore station, where they took a train for New York city, Philadelphia and other points in Pennsylvania. The bride's traveling suit was brown serge and the hat white beaver.
