Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Holsapple of Red Hook announce the marriage of their daughter, Frances Holsapple, to Foster Fingar, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Fingar of Nevis. The ceremony was performed Saturday night at 6 o'clock at the parsonage of St. Paul's Lutheran church, Red Hook, by Dr. George Hlpsley, the pastor. The bride wore a navy blue wool sports suit with blue accessories. She was attended by her sister, Mrs. Irwin Bathrick of Red Hook and Floyd Fingar, twin brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Only immediate relatives attended.
The couple have returned from a wedding trip to Niagara Falls, and are making their home in Red Hook. The bride attended Red Hook high school, and Mr. Fingar attended schools in Nevis. He is engaged in farming. - Poughkeepsie Eagle News October 30, 1936.
