Charles E. Blakesley, 75, of Reed Corners, died Friday, June 23, 1961, in the Batavia Veterans Administration Hospital.
Born in the Town of Jerusalem, son of John and Mary Finger Blakesley, he was an automobile salesman in Detroit until 1945. He retired and moved to Reed Corners 11 years ago. He was a Navy veteran of World War I.
He leaves his widow, Mrs. Mabel Stokley Blakesley; a daughter, Mrs. Veryl Hillebrent of Honeoye Falls; a sister, Mrs. Stella G. Connolly, of Phelps, and several nieces and nephews. - Gorham New Age June 29, 1961
