He was born in the Town of Campbell February 10, 1871, and was the son of John Henry and Osee Morse Eygabroat. May 17, 1893 he married Miss Lillian Sparks at the bride's home in Hornby. After his marriage, Mr. Eygabroat resided in the Town of Addison about four years, and since that time lived in, or near Painted Post. He was a resident of Painted Post for the past 28 years.
On leaving Addison Mr. Eygabroat was employed about 14 years by Ingersoll-Rand Company, at the end of which time he accepted a position in the machine shop at Corning Glass Works. He worked there until forced to retire last July because of ill health.
Mr. Eygabroat attended the Painted Post Baptist Church. Friends considered him a man of unusually fine character, sincere in all his actions, and he occupied a place of respect and esteem in the community.
