BRISTOL, Tenn. - Stoner W. Klutz Jr., age 80, passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2008, at the Cambridge House. He was born a triplet in Kannapolis, N.C., to the late Stoner Sr. and Capitola Caldwell Klutz.
Mr. Klutz had been a resident of Bristol for over 40 years and was a retired pharmaceutical representative with Wallace Laboratories. He had taught Bible classes at the Slater Center and at various churches in the area.
Survivors include wife of 59 years, Winnie Hobbs Klutz, children, Dr. Todd Klutz and wife Liz, Angela Sawyer and husband Floyd and Warren Klutz grandchildren, Farah Ronald, Sasha Williams, Austin, Nathaniel and Eliot Klutz; four great-grandchildren; siblings, Isabelle Goodale and Cappy Nowiski and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2008, at 2 p.m. in the Glenwood Mausoleum Chapel, with Dr. Todd Klutz officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Weaver Funeral Home.
