FINGER, Nellie Entered into eternal rest on the morning of January 17, 2003, Nellie Hord Finger, widow of Watson Cordes Finger, M.D. Residence, Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services in St. Michael's Episcopal Church Thursday, January 23, 2003 at Three o'clock. Interment, Magnolia Cemetery. Mrs. Finger was born September 21, 1920 in St. James City, Florida, the daughter of James Hord and Nellie Smith Hord. She was a member of St. Michael s Episcopal Church. She was a graduate of Baroness Erlanger Nursing School in Tennessee and served in the US Army as a Nurse Anesthetist in Panama during World War II. She is survived by her daughter: Eleanor F. Cody of James Island, SC two sons: Watson Cordes Finger, Jr. of Houston, Texas and James Hord Finger of Phoenix, Arizona four grandchildren: James B. Cody, Jr. Alexander W. Cody, Drew C. Finger and Laura Finger. - Obituary
