Mrs. Helen Gramata Pohorenec, forty-five, of 13 Garfield St., wife of Michael Pohorenec, a salvage dealer, died at St. Joseph's Hospital yesterday within a month of the death here of her mother, Mrs. Anna Gramata. She was a native of Mahanoy City. Pa., where her father lost his life in a coal mine accident when she was a child. She came to Yonkers some 25 years ago, after graduation from high school in Pennsylvania and had worked as a domestic here several years ago. She was a communicant of Holy Trinity Church. Surviving besides her husband are four children, Sister Joseph Therese of the Order of Sts. Cyril and Methodius in Danville. Pa. Gerald, Manhattan College sophomore Regina, a seventh grader at Holy Trinity School, and Marietta, three and a half a brother, George, and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Robick and Mrs. Katherine Baricko, all of Yonkers.
