A 2-year-old girl was accidentally shot and killed Tuesday night when a .22 caliber rifle in the hands of a play mate dropped to the floor and discharged. The victim, Janis Littleboy, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Therod Littleboy, of RDl Clay, was at the home of a baby-sitter, Beulah Krause, when the mishap occurred, Police said Anna Krause, a sister of the baby-sitter, ran into the living room of the Krause home, carrying a rifle which she dropped to the floor. The weapon discharged and a bullet struck Janis. Investigators said Anna had found the rifle propped against a wall in the kitchen of their home. - Tonawanda News January 4, 1961
