Miss Katherine Virginia Moss, daughter of the Very Rev. and Mrs. R. Benjamin Moss of Medina, and Raymond E. Parker III, son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond E. Parker Jr., also of Medina, were married July 16 at St. John's Episcopal Church. The Rev. Ronald Haefer, pastor of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Medina, and the Rev. Canon William Bowker, registrar and historiographer of the Episcopal Diocese of Western New York, officiated.
The bride, who was escorted to the altar by her father, wore a white eyelet gown fashioned with sleeveless bodice, ruffled skirt and a bolero jacket Her maternal great-grandmother's lace handkerchief, previously worn by her grandmother, aunt and sister, and diamond earrings and necklace, a gift of the groom, completed her ensemble. She carried a basket of sweetheart roses and wore a circlet of roses and baby's breath in her hair. Melinda Moss Finzar of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., sister of the bride, was matron of honor. She wore a prairie length skirt of red and blue print with a white camisole blouse trimmed with red ribbon and worn with a crocheted lace shawl. Bridesmaids were Barbara Davison Praus, Niagara Falls, Susan Howard, Lakeworth, Fla., cousins of the bride Debra Parker Pierce, Greece, N.Y., sister of the groom, and Michelle Wolfe of Rochester. They were attired identically to the matron of honor except with a predominantly blue color scheme. The groom was attended by David Stanton of Medina. Lawrence Pierce of Greece, N.Y., Robert Allis and James Baldwin of Medina, and Brad Bokman of Albion were ushers. After a reception at the Firemen's Recreation Hall in Knowlesville the couple left for a brief visit in Niagara Falls. They are now making their home at 4182 Dresser Road, Mlllville. - The Journal-Register November 10, 1983.
