Penn Yan, July 8 - Miss Ruth Hallings, who has been in the office of Dr. W. P. Rhudy for the past few years, was guest of honor at a variety shower Wednesday afternoon, at the home of Mrs. Fred S. Hollowell, with Mrs. Hollowell, Mrs. Morris McElwee and Mrs. Harold Nielsen as hostesses. Miss Halllngs will become the bride of Raymond Tears, of Penn Yan, early in August. - Geneva Daily Times July 8, 1937 Found her on the 1930 Milo, Yates, New York census (dist 5 img 4) as Ruth R. Hallings age 15. Found her on the 1940 Milo, Yates, New York census (dist 62-17 img 6) as Ruth Tears age 26. She and her husband are living in the household of her parents Frank and Rowena Hallings.
