At 6:30 o'clock Saturday evening, June 30, a pretty twilight wedding was solemnized at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles R. Beck of Murray, when their daughter, Hazel Bamber Beck, became the bride of Mr. Henry Towers of Albion.
The bride was gowned in pale green satln with silver trimmings and carried pink Butterfly roses. The bridesmaid, Miss Lorraine Hazard of Albion, niece of the groom, attired in tan georgette, carried a basket of roses, while a nephew of the bride, Mr. Frederick C. Scheik of Macedon, attended the groom as best man. The ring ceremony was performed by Rev. O. R. Newman of Gaines. Little Miss Hazel Ann Scheik, namesake of the bride, prettily dressed in rose color with white trimmings carried the ring on a silver tray. The tables were decorated in pink and white, covers being laid for twelve at the bride's table. The color scheme of pink and white was carried out in an arch of ferns and pink and white roses under which the vows were heard, only the immediate family and a few friends being present.

Mr. Towers has always been an Albion resident, and both young people have many friends in their respective towns, who are wishing them much happioness. Pre-nuptial events included a dinner given by Mrs. William McConnon and Mrs. Carl Finger at the home of Mrs. McConnon at Leicester, a postal shower by Mrs. E. G. Scheik of Macedon in which cousins and friends participated and a shore supper and shower by Mrs. DeForest Bragg. Miss Mary Margaret Macomber of Rochester and Mrs. DeForest Bragg assisted at the tables. Mr. and Mrs. Towers left on an evening train for Cleveland, Ohio, where they will visit Mr. Towers' brother Aldred and family, also visiting friends in Detroit, Michigan. On their return they will reside at Murray. The Holley Standard July 5, 1928
