Arthur E. Finger, 68, of 200 Kingsley Road, was pronounced dead on arrival at Ellis Hospital, Schenectady, last night after being stricken at a Burnt Hills United Methodist Church board meeting.
Born in West Camp, Mr. Finger lived in Burnt Hills for the past 28 years. He was employed in the motor and generator department of General Electric Co. for 25 years, retiring in 1968. He was a member of the Burnt Hills United Methodist Church, and Hudson Lodge 7, F & AM. He was a charter member of the Schenectady Rose Society, a member of the American Rose Society and in charge of judges for the New York State Rose Society.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Martha Bushey Finger a son, Arthur E. Finger Jr. of Nashua, N.H., and two grandchildren, James and Cynthia Finger of Nashua, N.H. Baxter Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements, which are incomplete. Schenectady Gazette 1974
