Florence Cournoyer, wife of Felix Chamberlain of 6 Arch Street, Colonie, died yesterday morning at the Troy Hospital after a long illness. Mrs. Chamberlain was born in Canada and has been a resident of Cohoes for 58 years. She moved to Colonie seven years ago. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Green Island.
Besides her husband, she is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Peter Finger of Green Island, Mrs. Harold Marsolais and Miss Dorothy Chamberlain of Colonie three sons: Leo Chamberlain of Bell's Landing, Pa., Ernest Chamberlain of Camden, N. J., and Raymond Chamberlain of Williamsport, Pa. three sisters: Mrs. Joseph Roberts and Mrs. Joseph Delists of Cohoes and Mrs. Arthur Maynard of Raymertown two brothers: John Cournoyer of Green Island and Wilfred Cournoyer of Cohoes eleven grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. from the residence, and at 9:30 a.m. from St. Joseph's Church, Green Island, where a solemn requiem mass will be celebrated. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Waterford. The Times Record April 8, 1947
