Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kellerhouse, Mlllbrook, announce the marriage of their daughter, Marie Elizabeth, to John Owens, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The ceremony took place last Saturday, in the parsonage of the Stanfordville Congregational-Christlan church. The Rev. Kirke Davis, the pastor, officiated. The bride was attended by her sister, Mrs. Andrew Setard, Mlllbrook, as matron-of-honor. Andrew Setaro was the best man. The bride wore a gown of cream and green flgurer silk, a white hat, and a shoulder corsage of white roses.
The matron-of-honor was attired in a blue-and white dress and white hat. She wore a shoulder corsage of yellow roses. Following a short wedding trip to Rye Beach, the couple will reside in Mlllbrook where Mr. Owens is employed at a Mlllbrook school. The bride attended Mlllbrook Memorial school, and Mr. Owens was graduated from Myrtle Beach High school in South Carolina. Attending the ceremony were Mr. and Mrs. David Daniels, Bangall, grandparents, of the bride Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kellerhouse, parents of the bride and Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Setard and daughter, Carol, Millbrook. - The Poughkeepsie Eagle-News August 24, 1940
