Mrs. Betty Jean Couse, aged 43, of Fort Plain, RD 1 died Sunday, February 1, at Little Falls Hospital She was born in Pleasant Valley on November 25, 1926 the daughter of Paul S. and Mabel (Chamberlain) Couse of Van Hornesville.
She attended schools in Dutchess County and was employed by the Snyder Manufacturing Company, Little Falls. Surviving are her mother two sons, George E. Streeter and Robert S. Streeter, both of Frankfort four daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Jean) Tys of Mohawk, RD 1, Mrs. Donald (Mary) Darrow of Little Falls, Mrs. Donald (Paulette) Young of Mohawk, and Miss Nancy Eysaman of Fort Plain, RD 1 two sisters, Mrs. Thomas (Pauline) Puskarenko of Van Horneiville, and Mrs. Egbert (Charlotte) Buckhout, Van Hornesville and three grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 4, from the McGrath Funeral Home in Richfield Springs, with the Rev. Raymond F. Linza, pastor of the Frankfort Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be later in Jordanville Cemetery. The Otsego Farmer February 5, 1970 page 6
