Mrs. Katherine Wager Erett, wife of the late Edward Erett, died Monday at her home at 14 Parker avenue, Poughkeepsie, after an illness of six months. She was 65 years old. Mrs. Erett was born in Rhinebeck on March 10, 1885, a daughter of the late David and Katherine Van Etten Wager. She moved to Poughkeepsie from Rhinebeck 47 years ago. Her husband died in February, 1941. Surviving are a son, Richard W. Erett of Poughkeepsle a daughter, Mrs. Charles Eckert of Poughkeepsie three sisters, Mrs. James Ellsworth, Mrs. John Lattin and Mrs. Hattie Ellsworth, all of Rhinebeck a brother, William Wager of Rhinebeck three grandchildren, Marilyn and Richard Erett and Kathy Eckert, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted at two o'clock Wednesday afternoon at 20 Smith street, Poughkeepsie. Dr. Arthur Carroll, minister of the Washington Street Methodist Church, officiated. Burial took place in the East Park cemetery. The Rhinebeck Gazette October 19, 1950
