WWII Draft Registration
Frank Glum, 80, of 204 N. Terrrace Ave., Mount Vernon, died last Friday at an upstate hospital after a lengthy illness. He was the father of Robert Glum of Bronxville.
Born in Germany on Sept. 13, 1880, son of the late Julius and Ernestine Glum, he came to this country 69 years ago and had been a Mount Vernon resident 28 years. He was a baker and had retired 12 years ago.
Surviving are his wife, the former Antoinette Weber, six sons, Gustave and George of Mount Vernon, Waldemar and Fred of the Bronx, Robert of Bronxville and Frank P. of Baldwin, L. I., two daughters, Mrs. Emma Miller of the Bronx, and Mrs. Lillian Corke of Mount Vernon, a sister, Mrs. Emma Collins of Rutherford, N.J., two brothers, Julius and George of the Bronx, 12 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
