Funeral services were held on February 22nd for Harry W. Finger of Main Street Lake Ronkonkoma who died on February l9th at the age of 77. He leaves two sons, Harold and Frank.
The body reposed at the Joseph Weber Funeral Home in Lake Ronkonkoma and the Rev. William J. Boone of the Lake Ronkonkoma Methodist
Church conducted the funeral service. American legion Services were held on Tuesday evening at Webers.
Mr. Finger was a member of the William Merritt Hallock Post, American Legion, a Commissioner of Boy Scouts, and Deputy Sachem of Redmen Tribe, State of New York. He was, at one time executive vice president of the Community Council of the City of New York. He also was a veteran of World War I.
Interment followed the funeral serice at Washington Memorial Park in Coram. - The Suffolk County News March 2, 1961
