Maria Moose, widow of William Dederick, died last Saturday at the home of her daughter, Miss Margaret Dederick, Bridge street, in her eighty-eighth year. Funeral services were conducted at the house on Tuesday afternoon by the Rev. J. A. Dykstra of the First Reformed Church interment in the West Camp Cemetery. Born at West Camp on Sept 29, 1827, to Adam Moose and his wife, Catherine Dederick, she wedded William Dederick at that place, and in 1885 she removed to this village. In all things she was the affectionate daughter, the true wife, the loving friend. Mrs. Dederick is survived by three daughters - (Mrs. Howard Finger of Mt Marion), Mary (Mrs. George W. Bates) and Miss Margaret Dederick of Catskill and two sons - William and Henry Dederick of Brooklyn.
