DELAWARE, Ohio, Feb. 27 (UP) - Miss Ida M Loop, sixty-five, of Columbus, who waited forty-eight years to get her man, was a bride today. She was married here last night to William Frank Whittier, seventy two. They were sweethearts when she was seventeen, but Whittier married another. He has been a widower several months. 'I've been waiting for him since I was seventeen and now the day has come,' she said. New York Post February 27, 1939
