'Leon was a member of the class of 1919 at Rutgers University, where he studied civil engineering. He was also in the army for less than a year in about 1918. In about 1921 he got a job as a rural mail carrier for the Saugerties Post Office, a job which he had for some 35 years.' - son Clair Smith

Smith, and brother of Mrs. Courtney Sebring and Mrs. Huel Parkman Jr. The funeral service will be held from the Hartley and Lamouree Funeral Home, corner of Main and Second Streets.
