Mrs. Bertha Carnright Beverly, wife of Albert H. Beverly, of Main street, Saugerties, died Tuesday morning at the Benedictine Hospital where she had been ill for several days.
A daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Carnright, Mrs. Beverly had resided in Saugerties all of her life. Besides her husband, two sisters, Mrs. Frank Lewis of Newark, N. J., and Mrs. Lewis Finger of Saugerties, and one brother, Charles Carnright of Newark, N.J., Mrs. Beverly is survived by niece, Mrs. Robert H. Warren of Pelham. N. Y., and two nephews, Pvt. William Finger, U. S. A., Camp Lee Va., and William Carnright of Bloomfield. N.J.
Mrs. Beverly was well known in town and held in high esteem by many friends. The funeral, with the Rev. John Neander of the Reformed Church officiating, will be held at the family home Friday. Burial will be in Mountain View cemetery. The Kingston Daily Freeman August 23, 1944
