Found him on the 1920 Penn Yan, Yates, New York census (dist 182 img 34) age 70, painter and decorator, own shop.
In Milo, January 23, 1925, George H. Romayne, aged 72 years. For many years the deceased was engaged in the paint and wall paper business in Penn Yan. He was a member of Keuka Lodge I. O. O. F., having joined that organization in 1905, and was a past grand of the order. He was also a past ??? patriarch of the Penn Yan Encampment. Funeral services were held from the undertaking rooms of Archie M. Thayer, on East Elm street, Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock, Rev. S. G. Houghton, of the Methodist Episcopal church, officiating. Keuka Lodge, I. O. O. F. was in attendance. Burial was made in Lake View cemetery. Penn Yan Democrat January 30, 1925
