Charged with violating the Volstead law, Martin Finger, 49, of 26 Ridgewood place, was arrested late yesterday afternoon by Detectives
Eugene O'Connor and John J. Hoffman, of Inspector James H. Post's staff, and locked up in Wilson avenue station charged with the illegal possession of a pint bottle partly filled with whiskey. According to the police, Finger conducts a candy and stationery store
at the Ridgewood place address and it is said that complaints have been made that Finger has been dispensing the "stuff that cheers." Officer O'Connor told Lieut. Daniel Connolly that he found the alleged whiskey under a candy counter. -
