Mrs. Anna Pohorenec of 6 Mulberry Street, died last night in Yonkers General Hospital, after an illness of five months. She was born twenty-nine years ago in Mahanoy City, Pa., a daughter of Mrs. Anna Gramata and the late George Gramata. She came to Ycokers in 1831. Mrs. Pohorenec is a relative of the Rev. Stephen Hudacek, assistant pastor of Holy Trinity Church. Surviving besides her mother, is her husband, Joseph Pohorenec, whom she married in Mahanoy City In April, 1933 three sons, Theodore, George and Joseph a brother, George Gramata and three sisters, the Misses Katherine and Mary Gramata, and Mrs. Helen Pohorenec. The funeral will be held from the home Saturday at 9:30 A. M. A requiem mass will be said in Holy Trinity Church at 10 A. M. and burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. - The Herald Statesmen February 6, 1941
