Rob, RJ, Bob & later Boob after a cartoon character, he followed Opal's family to Allegan Co. in 1910, assuming the farm from Ellis in 1913. Farmed most of their lives, he was also a teamster. With his horses Dick & Nate - hauled all of the bricks for Otsego's old high school on W. Allegan St. They lost a farm in the great depression. A big, gruff man he felt nothing was too good for 'his Opal' who wore silk stockings to do housework! Blissfield twp 1910 census shows Rob, Opal, Guy, Lynn rented farm. - Kathy Brockway

Found him on the 1920 Otsego, Allegan, Michigan census (dist 30 img 31) age 35, teamster. Father born Indiana, mother born Michigan.
