T. Durand Becker, aged 80 of Worcester, died Wednesday, August 2, at Fox Memorial Hospital in Onconta, following a long illness. Mr. Becker was born April 22, 1887, at Berne, the son of Melvin W. and Edith (Young) Becker. He married Edna Spaulding at Schoharie on April 22, 1913. Mr Becker was a retired laborer of the GLF grain mill at Buffalo. He had lived in Worcester 11 years, formerly having lived at Sharon and Buffalo. He was a member of the Berne Masonic Lodge. Surviving are his wife a son, Gerald D. Becker of Eagle Pass, Tex. a brother, Dr. DeForest Becker of Brooklyn a sister, Flora A. Becker of Altamont a granddaughter and several nephews and cousins. Private funeral services were held at 2 p. m. on Friday, August 4, from the Skinner Funeral Home in Worcester, with the Rev. Thomas P. White, pastor of the Worcester Methodist Church, officiating.
