MIDDLESEX - In a setting of white lillies, Miss Maureen Theresa McClafferty, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John McClafferty of Norwich, Conn, was married to David Paul Dorman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Dorman of Middlesex. The Rev. William J. Flynn performed the ceremony April 17 at St. Mary Church in Norwich, Conn. Miss Anastacia Pool of Norwich, Conn, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Katheleen McClafferty sister of the bride and Miss Bonnie Dorman, sister of the bridegroom. Boud Kuenen of Canandaigua was best man. Ushers were Phillip Williams and Donald Emory of Middlesex. The wedding reception was held at the Maennevchor Club in Taftville, Conn.
The bride is a graduate from Eastern Connecticut State College in Williamistic, Conn in May. The bridegroom is a graduate of Middlesex Valley Central School and is now serving with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Bluefish stationed in Norfolk, Va. - The Geneva Times May 15, 1971
