A seven-year-old Saugerties boy escaped serious injury Wednesday afternoon when he ran in front of a car operated by Clinton Ricketson Jr., 41, of Spaulding Lane on Livingston Street, Saugerties police reported. Michael Ostoyic, son of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Ostoyic of Ulster Avenue was taken by Saugerties Police Chief Arthur W. Richter, to the office of Dr. Hugh Chidester, Main Street and later to Dale's Sanitarium for X-Ray. He was allowed to return home. Chief Richter said the boy suffered an abrasion of his left knee and had a bump on his forehead. The Kingston Daily Freeman June 4, 1959
