Albert G. Finger, 88, of 71 Church St. Court, a former resident of Olean, died Tuesday (Jan. 26, 1982) in St.James Mercy Hospital, after a brief illness.
Born in Olean on Sept. 11, 1893, he was a son of
Charles E. and
Augusta Finger.
A resident of Hornell for 56 years, Mr. Finger had been employed as a machinist by the former Erie Railroad, retiring in 1953 after 30 years of service.
He was a member of the International Federation of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Lodge 201.
Surviving are a nephew,
Harley H. Griffin of Martin, Tenn., and two cousins in Olean.
Friends may call at the Robinson Funeral Home, Hornell on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m.
Graveside services will be held Saturday (Jan. 30. 1982) at 2 p.m in Allegany Cemetery. The Rev. Bradley T. Lines, of St. Pauls United Church of Christ, Hornell, will officiate. -
