Fred J. Finger, 84, of 316 Chestnut St., North Syracuse, died July 1 at his home after a short illness.
Mr. Finger was a retired farmer and had been a resident of the area all his life. He was a member of Centerville Lodge, F&AM, for 56 years.
Mr. Finger is survived by his wife Mrs. Kate Erhardt Finger; a daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Kinnear; a son Jerold C. Finger; a brother, Gottieb Finger; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Littleboy and Mrs. Emma Paulk; and six grandchildren.
Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Sears Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., with the Rev. Webster Melcher, pastor of the Andrews Memorial Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was in North Syracuse Cemetery.
