Cora Anna Lyle, widow of Herman V. Lyle, passed away at the home of her son, Stanley, in the town of Kinderhook, Nov. 25. Mrs. Lyle was born in Gallatin Sept 10, 1875, a daughter of William Fingar and Mary Phillips Fingar.
Mrs. Lyle and husband had resided in Gallatin, owning the farm now belonging to Dr. and Mrs. Ralph Bowman. Mr. Lyle died ten years ago.
Surviving Mrs. Lyle are a daughter, Mrs. Milton Bryant, of Ancram, two sons, Stanley of Valatie and Chester of Millerton a sister, Mrs. Burton Finkle of Gallatin also nine grandchildren and eleven great grand children. Funeral services were held Tuesday at Vedder church. Interment was in the church cemetery. - Pine Plains Register Herald, November 30, 1950
