Found her on the 1910 Civil District 10, Blount, Tennessee census (dist 26 img 4) as Vera Finger age 2.

Found her the 1920 Civil District 10, Blount, Tennessee census (dist 26 img 17) age 11. This census says she was born in Kentucky.

Vera Finger Allender 88, of 606 Gant St, died Aug. 21, 1996 at her residence.

Funeral is 11 a.m. Friday at Harris Memorial Chapel, with Rev. John Heath officiating. Interment will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Louisville Cemetery in Louisville, TN. Visitation is 7-8:30 p.m. today at Harris Funeral Home.

A native of Pulaski County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Beecher and Pearl Stansberry Finger, and a member of East Kings Mountain Church of God. She was preceded in death by two sons, William Humphrey and Robert Allender, and one daughter, Dorothy Boone. Survivors include four daughters, Alma Husky, Marion Wood, and Alice McGinnis of Kings Mountain, and Betty Brown of Maryville, TN; brother, John Finger of Miser Station, TN; sister, Elizabeth Payne of Butterfly Gap, TN; twenty-five grandchildren, fifty-five great-grandchildren, and ten great-great-grandchildren.
