Found her on the 1930 Kirkland, Oneida, New York census (dist 20 img 21) as Viola Fingar age 25, single, living at home. Clerical work, office. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Rome, New York.

Viola A. Hoover of 511 E. Bloomfield St., died Tuesday, May 10, 1988 in Rome Hospital, after a brief illness. She was married to Irving Young in Utica. He died in 1940. She later married Eugene L Hoover on June 2, 1943 in Utica. He died January 25, 1976.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Sandra Nicolaus, of Rome, one son, Allan G Young, of Oakdale, Ct., four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Nunn & Harper Funeral Home, Inc. Thursday 11 a.m. Interment Forest Hill Cemetery, Utica. Observer Dispatch May 11, 1988
