Lydia's wedding veil was a beautiful piece of Irish rosepoint lace that her groom TJ brought back from a visit to Ireland (at least, that is the family story). This veil has become a family heirloom: all three of Lydia's daughters wore it, most of her granddaughters wore it, I wore it, and my daughter (fifth generation) wore it to be married.
Lydia was a tiny little woman who still cooked on a wood stove in the 1960s (can that possibly be right??). She grew beautiful African violets - Lynn Mcgrann
